Dear academics and researchers
It is planned to publish an edited book on Judaism and Israel studies in 2018 (preferably an e-book version). Its purpose is to publish peer reviewed research articles related to all aspect of Jewish studies from traditional studies in religion, history, politics, international relations philosophy, economics, literature, sociology, and law etc. to contemporary studies in security, conflict management, media, women, human rights, holocaust, area/region et. In addition to the research articles, it is planned to have review articles.
Documentation style in formatting, citation and reference should be given according to international standards (APA, MLA, AIP, NLM, AMA, ACS etc.). There are no strict requirements on reference formatting at submission. References can be in any style or format as long as the style is consistent. Where applicable, author(s) name(s), journal title/book title, chapter /article title, year of publication, volume number and the pagination must be present.
Edited book in the files of Israeli and Judaic Studies accepts optionally a using a particular The Chicago Manual of Style (CMS): Note and Bibliography system as documentation style. See the CMS manual for issues not listed in this guideline. (available online at http://chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html).

Proposals for chapter contributions, in the form of a 300-500 word abstract, are being requested by August 15, 2018. Abstracts will be reviewed by the editors and potential authors notified of review results no later than August 15, 2018. Successful authors will be invited to submit full chapters (5,000-10,000 words) by October 15, 2018 which will be followed by a peer-review process. Publication of the book is planned no later than December 31, 2018.
